Free Essays on Romeo & Juliet - Names

When you are born, the first thing that you get without your choice is a family. Then this family names you... You don’t know that your future will depend on just those letters that your family gives to you... Your family decides how kind of a person they want you to be and gives you the name ‘Romeo’ for you to be a romantic boy and ‘Juliet’ to be a beautiful girl. According to Elizabethan time beliefs, this couple mustn’t have come together because they were star-crossed lovers. In Shakespeare’s Romeo in contemporary times, the names can be the source of stereo typing. There is a feud between Capulets and Montagues. Even though Shakespeare didn’t tell us how the feud began, by looking at their situation we can guess that the first spark must have been an economical fight. Then this fight must have been spread out in every part of their lives. The workers and kinsman of Lady and Lord Capulet fights with the kinsman and workers of Lady and Lord Montegue. They fight a lot of times during the play, but they never had a reasonable reason for these fights. They fight because of names; names which are just abstract. In contemporary times, names are not a reason for fighting because there is no such feuds. There are some people who fight with others because they just didn’t like the way they look. A typical example is, the racist people fighting with black people. In the last scene of act one, Juliet and Romeo fell in love with each other, but they can’t be together because of their names. Their names are the symbol of a feud, which doesn’t want any piece of love in it. During the balcony scene, Juliet says â€Å"O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name: Or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love and I’ll no longer be a Capulet. ‘T is but thy name that is my enemy... Reactions and Reasons Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1000 words

Reactions and Reasons - Essay Example This piece is quite impressive due to the number of feelings and associations it triggers by its sounding and instrumentation. It is visibly divided into 3 sections, which structure perceptions regarding music. The first and the third parts dwell on the same idea; however, they represent it differently. In this way these two sections are not perceived as identical. The second section of the piece is aimed at opposing the fist and the last sections. A number of binary oppositions characterize the differences between the second and two other sections of the piece. All of them create unforgettable atmosphere of the piece and help to reveal the meaning each part displays. From the very beginning the piece engages listeners by its full and brings sounding. This piece is composed for the orchestra; the music has rich texture and polyphony, which is visible from the first chords. The first impression of the music is that the part 0:00-0:51 has slight oriental tints in its sounding, as they have elements of pentatonic scale in string arpeggios. Such a confident beginning (forte, allegro), reminds of an overture – an introduction to opera or ballet. High contrasts in pitch, switches from major to minor element in music and rich instrumentation associates this piece with parade or celebration where many people are involved. It contains a controversy; reiteration of major arpeggios in minor in this part creates ambiguous and tensed feelings as music is unstable and highly changeable.

Discuss and explain how printing affected the authority held by the Essay

Discuss and explain how printing affected the authority held by the church and the aristocracy in the Europe and how this led to profound social and political changes - Essay Example The practical value of literacy would at all times be essential. The ultimate practical use was apparently in the purposes of the Church, since merely a knowledgeable clergy may be the authorities of religious life. In other words, literacy was the Church’s protection, which had supreme control over education. The invention of printing, entailing more efficient and more economical means of book production, transformed the dilemma of illiteracy. Francis Bacon, living in the period directly after the introduction of Gutenberg’s printing press, illustrated as one of the remarkable inventions of the century which had revolutionized the form and condition of the entire world (Hill 2001). The objective of this paper is to explore the impact of the printing press on the authority of the Church and aristocracy in Europe as well as its contribution in the profound social and political changes that the continent experienced in the iron century. The absolute goal of making the population literate was to persuade them of the rightness of their own points of view. The period of the Counter Reformation can hence be viewed as an extended practice in the development of methods of persuasion. It was the printed ideas, circulated through manuscripts, newspapers and pamphlets that eventually surfaced as the most persuasive technique of propaganda. In the Middle Ages, the pulpit had been the primary arbiter of public judgment, and this important role persisted all over the seventeenth century. Unparalleled victory was attained by the clerics of the Counter Reformation, who, through this method originated the remarkable progresses initiated by Lutherans through the effective exploitation of the pulpit. Sermons realized a twofold victory, further. They were transmitted by word of mouth; then, they were printed and circulated in order to get to an even wider audience (Kamen 1971). So

Assignment proposal 4 Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 500 words

Proposal 4 - Assignment Example Questionnaires are one of the data collection methods that I will use in this research. In my questionnaires, I will include both closed-ended and open-ended questions. Closed-ended questions will capture non-negotiable information such as the name of the organization and the department from which my respondents will be coming from. Individual opinions about what different aspects of privatization will be captured using open-ended questions. Since questionnaires are effective in market research, they will help answer my research question because it has to do with the private sector (Roland 2008, 34). Interviews are the other data method that will be employed in my dissertation research. Interviews will be essential in probing respondents on the basis of their personal beliefs and opinions about privatization. These interviews will be done through face-to-face encounters with respondents or through telephone calls for respondents who will not be accessible through face-to-face meeting. One thing that makes interviews sufficient in answering my research question is that they will allow follow up questions on the answers that respondents will give hence providing a better understanding of the topic (IMF 2010, 71). The demographics that may be of significance to this research include age, level of education and the position in which every respondent serves in Zain Company. Age demographics will provide insight into the varying perceptions of privatization by different generations including baby boomers (born between 1940s and 1960s) and the millennial (born between 1970s and 2000). Gender will be captured but may not have a determining impact on the findings on the topic under study. All participants that are employees of Zain Company will be eligible for inclusion in this study. Government employees in the Department of Statistics will be included as key participants in this research (Megginson 2005, 27). In analyzing my data, I

Seven Unique features of E-commerce Ubiquity- The traditional business market is a physical place, access to treatment by means of document circulation. For example, clothes and shoes are usually directed to encourage customers to go somewhere to buy. E-commerce is ubiquitous meaning that it can be everywhere. E-commerce is the worlds reduce cognitive energy required to complete the task. The seven unique features most in this website is no problem, but the information density has some disadvantages and its one of the seven unique features. Information density is the function of information to the Internet and the web site can be the total amount and all markets, consumers and enterprise quality information. At the same time, accuracy and timeliness of the consumers can know this website information. But the website in this regard is poor because of its language in this website is insufficient and even only a language so easily lead to consumers in the shopping website will be very troublesome, even if consumers do not understand the language may be to give up on this website shopping and even lead to this site is less and less people browse or buy. For example in this web site to buy clothes but the browsing process found that consumers choose clothes are not enough data to t he customer cannot be assured to buy, so in this aspect of the problem should be properly modified and solve this problem. For example, should first website have a variety of linguistic choices can make different national consumers easily understand this website information easy to buy the goods. Then on the items, such as this site is selling the clothes should be more detailed write the item price, style, color and size, so that the customer more easy to buy. Stock Market :: essays research papers

1929 Stock Market Crash   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚     Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  On October 3, 1929 The Dow Jones started to drop from a recent high of 381. The average of the Dow Jones then kept dropping throughout the week of October 14. The night of Monday October 21,1929, margin calls were heavy, and numerous Dutch and German sell calls came in overnight for the Tuesday morning opening. On Tuesday morning, out-of-town banks and corporations called in $150 million of call loans, and Wall Street was in a panic before the New York Stock Exchange opened. On October 24, 1929, people began selling their stocks as fast as they could. Sell orders flooded market exchanges. On a normal day, only 750-800 members of the New York Stock Exchange started the Exchange. However, there were 1100 members on the floor for the morning opening. The Exchange then directed all employees to be on the floor since there were numerous margin calls and sell orders placed overnight and extra telephone staff was arranged at the members' boxes around the floor. The Dow Jones Industrial Index closed at 299 that day. October 29 was the beginning of the Crash. Within the first few hours the stock market was open, prices fell so far as to wipe out all the gains that had been made in the previous year. The Dow Jones Industrial Index closed at 230. Since the stock market was viewed as the chief indicator of the American economy, public confidence was shattered. Between October 29 and November 13 over $30 billion disappeared from the American economy. It took nearly t wenty-five years for many stocks to recover. The causes of the stock market crash were overpriced stocks, margin buying, federal reserve policy, and public official’s repeated statements. Many people believe the stock shares were priced too high and the crash brought it down back to a normal level. The new President of the Federal Reserve Board Adolph Miller tightened the monetary policy and set out to lower the stock prices since he perceived that speculation led stocks to be overpriced, causing damage to the economy. Also, starting from the beginning of 1929, the interest rate charged on broker loans rose tremendously. This policy reduced the amount of broker loans that originated from banks and lowered the liquidity of non-financial and other corporation that financed brokers and dealers. Also Herbert Hoover publicly stated that stocks were overvalued and that speculation hurt the economy.

How Does Caffeine Affect the Heart Rate of the Daphnia

My results and the graph indicate that as you add the caffeine to the daphnia, the eart rate of the daphnia increases for example the daphnia's heartbeat is 120 without caffeine, however when caffeine is added it is increased to 168. My graph shows a positive correlation and the error bars are also very small which shows that the results have a small range which suggests that my results are accurate and reliable. I think that the experiment was conducted well however there may be some ethical issues surrounding the fact that daphnias are also living species. Therefore, by using daphnias in these experiments may cause a risk for them as there would be little quantities of the species left. This would also affect other living organisms that feed on daphnias for their dietary needs therefore in the experiment we diluted the caffeine solution with distilled water to prevent the daphnia from dying and afterwards, we could put them back in their natural habitats. On the other hand, by doing this experiments it could potentially help us in the future. Also, another problem is that I may have miscounted the daphnias heartbeat due to human errors. However, as I repeated the experiment 3 times, it ensures me that the data is quite accurate. However, if I was to do the experiment again I would do more repeats to make sure the results are reliable and there would be less chance of human error. Also, I would use different concentrations of caffeine to get more accurate comparisons and to see how different concentrations may affect the daphnias heartbeat also. Overall, I think that my results are precise and distinct.

In the followers section, scroll down to the bottom of the page. There you will find your top five competitors and their growth over the past thirty days. You can see more of your competitors by scrolling through the pages at the bottom of the screen. These reports are pretty small compared to some of the analytics reports that you’ll find in other tools however they are a nice base to jump off of. To Do: Choose competitive research tools  that will help aid your competitive analysis research. Step Two: Find Your Competitors The next step in your competitor analysis is finding the competitors that you want to track. This is a vital part of your analysis because who you choose as your competitors will determine what you’re going to judge your social strategy against. Before you jump straight into your research there are two things you need to do first: Determine if you’re working with direct or indirect competitors. Understand your level of competition (local, regional, national, global, etc). There are two types of competitors:  Direct and Indirect. Direct competitors are the ones who offer the same services and products as you. For example, Domino’s Pizza’s direct competitors would be Pizza Hut, Godfather's and other delivery places. All of them offer the same services and a relatively similar product. Indirect competitors are the ones who offer some of the same services that you do, but it may not be all that they do. Unlike direct competitors, indirect competitors will overlap somewhat with your business strategy but not completely. If we go back to our Domino’s example, some of their competitors would be Walmart, DiGiorno’s, convenience stores or other grocery stores that sell pizza. In order to decide who you’re going to research first, your team needs to determine if you compete at a local, regional, national, or global level. Then, buckle down and see if you can turn up competitors in your market at each level. Google Search Google is one of the easiest and most obvious tools to find competitors. Google is careful to serve results aligned with the search intent and location of the search, which means that you need to be specific in what you are looking for and where. Things like â€Å"Starbucks near me† or â€Å"Holiday Inn’s in Sacramento California† are ways to show Google that you’re looking for a specific company or place within one area. For a local search, it could look something like: Note that attaching a city to your search is key to helping you find those local results. Especially if you want to change the town that you are looking in. A  regional search  could look like: And a national search could look like this: In-App Searches If you want to look for competitors through a specific social media channel, you can usually find them through an in-app search: To complete state and nation wide searches, change the end of your search wide to a state or the US. In addition to Facebook, Instagram also allows a location specific search. However, to see results you need to scroll through the list that pops up after your search. If you click or hit enter, it will take you to the top tagged location for that area. Another limit to the Instagram search is that locations need to be tagged on each post. That means your results will not be all encompassing like Facebook or Google. Industry Publications Most industries will have some kind of industry publication  where people can get the latest news on trends and industry tips. Think your industry is too boring to have its own media? You might be surprised. In order to find them, you need to turn once again to the almighty Google (or whatever search engine you prefer to use). Think your industry is too boring to have its own publications? Think again. To find those publications, type in publications for [insert industry here] industry. Alternately, you can also search "blogs" or "magazines" in place of "publications" to make sure your search is thorough. Google will then populate a list of the top publications related to your industry, which you can then explore. To Do: Conduct three different searches across Google, social media sites, and industry publications both on and offline to help find competitors. Step Three: Choose Your Top Five Competitors This is probably one of the most difficult parts of your process because after your research you could have a huge list of competitors. Instead of having a list of competitors that extends a page or two down your document, narrow your field down to your top five. They can span across different sizes and locations, meaning that you could have a mix of direct and indirect competitors, and local, regional, and national brands. Other metrics that you could use to help choose your competitors could be: Similar audience size. Services offered. Same number of locations. The main thing that you need to ask yourself is, who do you want to go toe-to-toe with and why? At this point, you can pull out that competitive analysis template that you downloaded earlier. You’ll notice the first tab is labeled Introduction: In that first tab you can enter in: The name of your competitor. Their location. Whether they’re a direct or indirect competitor. Their website link. To Do: Choose your top five competitors based on Whether or not they’re a direct competitor. Is your competitor a local, regional, or national brand. Enter your chosen competitors into your competitive analysis report. Step Four: Set Competitive Analysis Goals Your team is taking the time to research and monitor your competitors for a reason. But if you don’t know what that reason is, you’re going to end up sitting on a bunch of data wondering what you can do with it. To make sure that your team doesn’t waste their time, take the time to ask why this analysis is important and what questions are you hoping to answer? Some example questions that you could answer are: What gaps are our competitors leaving that we could fill to entice our target audience to choose us? What are our competitors doing well that would be difficult for us to take the time to replicate? How quickly are they growing compared to us? What types of content are they publishing that is causing their audience to interact with it? How often are they responding to their fans? These questions aren’t all inclusive by any means, but they can serve as a jumping off point for your team. Are you setting goals for your #social #media competitive analysis? You can also set goals that help put you above your competition. What that means for your team is: if you see your top competitor is growing their followers by a certain percentage, you want to grow your followers even faster. How you go on to tackle your competition will be up to you. If your competitors are growing their following by x% every month, how can you recreate that progress? You also need to determine if where your competitors are growing is something you want to invest your time into. If your competitors are growing their followers, good for them, but maybe your team wants to focus on content instead? Some questions to ask your team: What are some ways that we can increase our follower growth to x% above our top competitor? How many messages do we currently send on [Channel]? How can we increase that number? What can we do to increase our engagements per post on [Channel]? To Do: Brainstorm with your social media team and choose three questions to start that you want your competitor analysis to answer for you. You can add more as your team begins the process but don’t overwhelm them by trying to answer all 12 at once. Step Five: Choose The Channels You’ll Monitor So you have your top five competitors. Now what? Time to choose the channels you’ll be monitoring. With this process, you’ll have two different options. The first is to monitor the channels that you are active on and only observe channels that both you and your competitors are on. Meaning if you’re on Twitter and your competitor is on Twitter and Facebook, you’d only be observing their activity on Twitter. Your second option is to monitor all of your competitor’s social channels even if they are not active on all of the same ones that you are. In your competitive analysis template, you’ll see a tab dedicated to each social media channel. Depending on which channels you’re tracking, you’ll need to fill out the competitor’s name, their username or handle for each as well as a link to their profile: You’ll need to repeat that process for every social media channel that your team has decided to track your competitors on. We’ll go over the rest of those columns a little later in this post. Do better #social #media competitive analysis with this guide + free templateStep Six: Check Out Their Content Strategy The next part of your analysis is going to involve researching and analyzing your competitor’s content strategy for every channel that they are active on. For this part of your research, turn to the Content Strategy tab in your template: You’ll notice that this tab is laid out a little different than the rest, but don’t worry, we’ll go over how to fill in the data you’ve collected. The first thing you need to do is fill in the name of one of the competitors you’re looking to gather information on. For this example, let’s pretend we’re doing competitive research on Starbucks. Your template would look like this: Determine Post Type The first content strategy metric your team is going to track is post type. There are four types of posts that a brand can share on social media: Curated:  Posts where the original article, photo, video, etc. was created by someone else and then shared by the brand later. Original:  Posts where the content has been created by the brand and shared to its social channels. Promotional:  Posts where their main goal is to get their audience members to buy or subscribe to something. Educational:  Posts where their main goal is to educate the intended audience. So now that you have your four post types, you can begin to go through your competitor’s channels. How in depth your team wants to go will determine how far back you’re going to go into their social channels and normally falls into one of three segments: One week One month Six months Once you determine how far back you want to track their posts you can begin scrolling through feeds and recording the different types of posts you see: So let’s say that you scroll through Starbucks’s Facebook feed and see that they publish on  average seven messages per week, some are knowledge posts and some are curated posts. Then of those posts you see that 2 knowledge posts are in a video format, one is a photo and one is a blog. The curated posts on the other hand are all links. Keep track of those different media formats in your spreadsheet as well: The final section that you’re going to fill out about post types in this tab is the number of times they post within a certain date: You may need to add additional lines if there is more than one frequent post type. To do this, highlight the row you want to add to, right click your mouse and select Insert: You can continue repeating this process for each of your competitor’s social channels. Recommended Reading: How to Develop a Winning Social Media Content Strategy (Free Template) Record The Media Type You may notice another tab in your spreadsheet entitled Media Type. This is a section in your report where you can keep track of every content type that your competitors are using on each of their social channels. The initial list that we put into this template was: Blogs E-Books Reports Videos White pages Podcasts Landing Pages Articles Infographics Quote Graphics GIF’s Check off each media type as it appears on your competitor’s profile: Determine The Voice And Tone Used On Each Channel Another part of your content strategy  analysis will be seeing what type of voice and tone your competitors are using on their social channels. Aren’t voice and tone the same thing? No, while they are similar there are subtle differences that need to be identified. Voice: Overall brand personality. Voice can be developed and described many different ways although a common practice is to summarize it in three adjectives  that encompasses how the brand sounds overall. Tone: Tone is  emotional or feeling that a brand puts behind it’s voice and it will change depending on the context and content of the post. As you’re scrolling through competitor's posts, take note of how their posts sound. Are they professional like Microsoft: Part of the hip crowd like MTV: Or family friendly like Disney: Once you have their voice and or tone determined you can record it in your spreadsheet:

Intervention Approach To Promote Fatherhood In Schools Social Work Essay Essay Example

Intervention Approach To Promote Fatherhood In Schools Social Work Essay Essay Example Intervention Approach To Promote Fatherhood In Schools Social Work Essay Essay Intervention Approach To Promote Fatherhood In Schools Social Work Essay Essay An Intervention Approach to Promote Fatherhood in Schools: Geting the Generalist Intervention Model, the Mandala Ecosystem Health Model, Urie Bronfenbrenner Ecological Systems Theory and Egan Skilled Helper Model An Intervention Approach to Promote Fatherhood in Schools: Geting the Generalist Intervention Model, the Mandala Ecosystem Health Model, Urie Bronfenbrenner ecological systems theory and Egan Helper Model As portion of a university-based adviser, this intercession paper seeks to turn to its issue on forming a plan aimed at prosecuting fathers/ conveying fathers/ more males into the Catholic College to advance the importance of paternity by presenting relevant and effectual plans to profit the local community. The school was formed in 2008 and began as a School in a Shopping Centre . Currently, within the school, around 50 % of pupils live in single-parent places or with a step-parent. Additionally, around 25 % of pupils have a history of sing maltreatment within the household. The Mandala Health theoretical account, Urie Bronfenbrenner ecological systems theory, Egan skilled helper theoretical account and the GIM theoretical accounts are to help me in the planning and suggestion procedure of presenting an intercession that promotes Australian authorities s Stronger Families and Communities scheme announced in the 1999-2000 Federal budget. My intercession attack Since, the school wants to advance paternity, I as a adviser suggests that in order to increase male parents actively-involved with kid s life, the school could give out consent signifier informing activities such as athleticss twenty-four hours carnival, fun-fair, etc which male parents could take part in to advance or construct bonds with the kid alternatively of merely being the exclusive breadwinner of the family. Let them cognize that little small things could do a difference in a kid s turning up procedure. It is non merely holding stable fiscal income which makes the kid happy. In add-on, presenting tonss charts which motivate their kid to inform their male parents on approaching activities. Whoever male parents participated in the event would be awarded with nutrient verifiers. These verifiers can so be exchanged for free nutrient in the canteen. For tonss wise, we ll based on the top 5 % who has meet the demand and be awarded with item of grasp ; give acknowledgment to beget s attempt. What were the phases you went through in the planning procedure? Describe the activities undertaken. The Generalist Intervention Model is an intervention/practice theoretical account that includes all systems ( micro, macro and mezzo ) by supplying a systematic attack to set about the alteration procedure in turn toing the issue. The undermentioned aforementioned are the procedures: Battle. Establishing rapport relationships and effectual communicating by recognizing the client regardless of whether one is prosecuting micro, mezzo or macro alteration, the basicss of making so is to construct good resonance or a trusty relationship with clients and mark system to bring forth basic communicating. Battle is inclusive of verbal and non-verbal communicating and genuineness to prosecute clients the assisting procedure ( Hull and Kirst-Ashman, 2004 ) . Assessment. Designation of client by specifying whether it is single, household, group, organisation or community by placing one based on all facets mentioned above. Even though it sounded simple, to acknowledge who my client is, may go bleary and obscure, as I have to oppugn these undermentioned inquiries. Who is my client? Who are the 1s that needed my aid? Is it merely an person or the full household is my client alternatively ( Hull and Kirst-Ashman, 2004 ) . Assess the client-in-situation and place issues. Four major facets are considered such as micro, mezzo and macro degrees. Each facets must be defined and place strengths in the component of human diverseness. Micro facets. Researching the criticalness of the jobs, causing of the job, client strengths and and how to better to better one lives ( Hull and Kirst-Ashman, 2004 ) . Planing. Specifying the jobs and program which to prioritise. Execution. Transporting out the discussed programs to accomplish client end. Consistent monitoring and assessing of advancement during execution to guarantee client corsets on path. Sometimes, it might impact the program in footings of its state of affairs, conditions or issues. Evaluation. Practitioners must be accountable for their intercession by turn outing its effectivity. Evaluating of each end that has been achieved to find whether the instance should be terminated or reevaluate to make new ends. Termination and followup. Do non set up fond regard with the client upon expiration. As a expression goes learning one the techniques of angling instead than supplying one fishes every clip which denotes disengage with the individual upon the client being stabilized after this intercession ends ( Hull and Kirst-Ashman, 2004 ) . What theoretical accounts of be aftering did you follow for be aftering? Refer to relevant literature. The Generalist Intervention theoretical account proposed by Hull and Ashman ( 2004 ) which involves the eight stairss of planning: Work with the client Prioritize jobs Translate jobs into demands Evaluate degrees of intercession for each demand Establish ends Specify aims Specify action stairss Formalize a contract Work with the client. Working with the client by affecting the client with the job, definition of the job which the client perceived a job as the top precedence compared to other jobs faced. On the other manus, practicians have to take into history of the client s strengths during the planning procedure to forestall difference among one another. Prioritize jobs. Provide precedence for each jobs what others or practicians think is most important might non be important to the client for the job to rank as top precedence. For illustration, foremost, paternity ; prosecute more fathers/stepfathers in lovingness, fostering their kids. Second, school supplying high-quality instruction and installations for pupils. Translate jobs into demands. Initially, client suffered from the jobs. Hence, as practitioners/consultants, we got to supply solutions to help in problem-solving. Acerate leaf to state, this simple measure in be aftering AIDSs in reorganising our ideas on current state of affairs in order to make up ones mind on appropriate solutions. Evaluate degrees of intercession ( micro, mezzo, and macro ) . Stressing one client needs at a clip by get downing with those ranked as highest precedence. Discussion on alternate solutions with the client may concentrate on the micro, mezzo, or macro degree of transmutation. For illustration, affecting what can the single bash at the micro-level by supplying alternate methods aiming on behavioral direction. Establish ends. Charting out ends that are executable for client s with respects on how to continue with the intercession. For case, to construct a full-pledged school that benefits the local community. Specify aims. Goals specificity in placing what needs to be achieved, how do I travel about accomplishing the ends and run intoing my client demands? Therefore, saying expressed aims helps to supply specification in our aims. Specify action stairss. These stairss represent the lucidity of the ends and the completion of the ends by traveling towards accomplishing the aims. Action steps helps to supervise and reevaluate our client s actions. Noteworthy to observe that failure to finish of import action stairss leads to failure to achieve aims and client s ends. Formalize a contract with the client. Bring in a contract working understanding that is negotiable with the client and others involved in the procedure. A contract formalizes the understanding between client and practician and clear uping both outlooks. An array of points includes the fiscal fees, footings and conditions involved in the intercession. Purportedly, clients should be actively-involved with developing the conditions in the contract. Apprehensible footings must be used in the contract instead than proficient slangs which client does nt understand easy. Additionally, this contract differs from legal contracts in footings of its flexibleness to client s altering demands or conditions. Did you use ecosystemic rules in planning, and if so, what rules were used and how? The Mandala of Health: a wellness theoretical account of the human ecosystem As the Mandala Health theoretical account has been on-going in the early 1980s, it has gained world-wide credence in the medical and psychological association. This theoretical account conveys that the interaction of civilization with environment AIDSs one in understanding the human ecology. The outer degree of the Mandala high spots our populating planet embracing the civilization and the biosphere. Holistically, wellness of the single consists of spirit, organic structure and head dimensions. The system that is environing the person is the household and community facets while beside the organic structure and head, make-up of the sick-care system and work. In between the four sides of the circle, contains personal behavior, psycho-socio economic environment, human biological science and physical environment ( Hancock, 1993 ) . Ultimately, this theoretical account should be every bit seen as a multi-disciplinary usage, flexible and dynamic in which assorted component transform based on single demands ( Hancock, 1993 ) . Conversely, to solidify the theory s practical model, I would prefer Bronfenbrenner s Ecological Systems Theory as it defines as complex beds of environment, each holding an consequence on a individual s development. Recently, this theory has been renamed bioecological systems theory to stress that a individual s ain biological sensitivity is a primary environment fueling their development ( Santiago, 2004 ) . The interaction between factors in the individual s maturating biological science, their immediate household and community environment, and the social landscape fuels and tips their development. Changes or struggle in any one bed will ruffle throughout other beds. To understand male parent s demands in the passages, we must look non merely at the male parents but every bit good as the pupils and their immediate environment, but besides in all environment dimensions of interaction as good. Egan assisting theoretical account and the results Egan skilled helper theoretical account is reflected in my planning procedure and outcomes. It is non based on a peculiar theory of personality development, or on a theory of the ways troubles develop. It is a model for gestating the assisting procedure, and is best used in working on issues in the recent yesteryear and the present. As with any theoretical account, it provides a map, which can be used in researching and navigating, but which is non the district itself. The Egan theoretical account and mentoring are non synonymous ; the theoretical account can be used in many sorts of assisting relationships, and mentoring/co-mentoring can be done utilizing other theoretical accounts or merely entirely one. The theoretical account can and should be used flexibly. The theoretical account works best if attending is paid to Rogers core conditions , the assistants approach to the talker being based on genuineness, regard, and empathy, and if rules of good active hearing are remembered throughout. Three chief inquiries were posed to the talker on Egan theoretical account: What is traveling on? Using the school to the benefit of the local community Organized a plan aimed at prosecuting fathers/bringing fathers/more males into the school Maltreatment instances found in kids s household lives What do I desire alternatively? Include the staff without looking to make more work for them Increase the engagement of fathers/grandfathers/stepfathers within the school community How might I acquire to what I want? Ensure they do non burnout by holding a work-life balance in their lives for parents, instructors, and principal Provide pupil services and reding installations Strength and failings of the planning theoretical account Theoretically, this theory is various, good developed and highly utile. In contrast, interviewers and advisers have to be highly-competent to follow the Hull and Kirst-Ashman Generalist Intervention theoretical account ( GIM ) as it emphasize on client strengths instead on failings which possibly, the individual could be intellectually-disabled which might take to misjudging the individual s strengths. Hypothetically, get bying schemes, moderateness and mediation elements were non covered in the planning theoretical account which leads to burnout among organisation. In footings of cultural differences, different organisations have certain values or mission and protocol for persons to adhere. Advisers have to be highly-cultural competency to work efficaciously with clients of different racial backgrounds, ethnics and assorted civilizations when geting the planning theoretical account. Besides, advisers have to take note non to do automatic premises about diverse group in the societal environment. They must endeavor to develop self-awareness and appreciate human differences in an person in order non to be bias towards to their diagnosing when implementing the theoretical account to their client instance.

Salem Witch Trials (1692) Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1250 words

Salem Witch Trials (1692) - Essay Example The concept of white magic had been inherited from Britain, where the colonists who migrated to North America continued to practice their white magic, as a way of protecting their agriculture, wealth and property, just as it used to happen back in Britain. However, towards the end of the fifteenth century and running into the sixteenth century, religion became an important aspect of the North American colonists, and the traditional white magic which was initially common in the society became black magic in the eyes of the religious converts (Reed, 2015). Subsequently, any traditional aspect t of the magic became witchcraft, and those practicing the magic became evil and satanic. Thus, the Salem Witch Trials (1692) were purely informed by the rise of religious extremism and social anxiety, which did not tolerate what the society referred to as the non-believers (Reed, 2015). Therefore, the non-believers were targeted and branded witches, and their fate was sealed through a series of t rials, which condemned most of them to death or long-term prison sentences. The legal issue identifiable in the Salem Witch Trials (1692) is the due process of the law. The major issue of law in this case is the issue of misapplication of the due process of the law, which requires that an accused should only be charged based on evidence that is beyond reasonable doubt (Rissanen, 2012). Reasonable doubt was present throughout the process of identifying the accused, presenting witness statements and charging them in court, but the process of sentencing them continued anyway. Spectral evidence was the sole basis of determining the cases in the Salem Witch Trials (1692), where the powers of the accused to use shapes and specters that tormented the young girls in the village, which could not be proven or identified in any way, was the basis of charging the accused (Yool, 2007).
